First off, we want to say a giant “THANK YOU!” to all our beta users. In the first few days of the TPL launch, we’ve reached 500 users and counting!
In addition, we’ve received some amazing feedback from our community about the software thanks to the survey which you can find here:
It is you, our valued customers, who use our tools daily and we encourage your feedback on what we need to add, change, or improve.
So make sure you sign up for the software (it’s free right now during our open beta) and feel free to share your thoughts with us. We read every single response, and we’ve already put in place some changes to the interface that will make searching faster and easier.
So Long, 2019
As 2019 winds down, we’re busy gearing up for big changes to the platform to make the tool even more awesome.
- Database updates. Our team here is always hard at work adding and updating the database so we have the best parts information online. Just today our “parts boss” Nate reviewed a spreadsheet of over 36,000 parts for accuracy, before they’re put in the database. It’s our mission to have the best data online, and our team is constantly helping us achieve that goal.
- Website upgrades. As more users join the platform, we upgrade our website to make sure it can handle all the new traffic. In addition, our web team is making sure it’s easy to ask for help or request API access for your own software!
- New tools. Tyler Robertson, CEO of Diesel Laptops, always has new ideas for tools to help parts shops save money, become more efficient, and serve their customers better. To that end, our engineering team has been hard at work making those ideas a reality, and we can’t wait to share them with you in the coming year.
Merry Christmas and Happy New Year!
From all of us at Truck Parts Lookup, we hope you have a safe and joyous holiday season, and we can’t wait to see what 2020 brings!
